Features of the markilux 6000
The Flagship of Luxury Outdoor Shading
Unprotected outdoor entertaining spaces absorb intense solar heat, turning beautiful decks into uncomfortable heat traps and exposing outdoor furnishings to severe UV fading. Traditional awnings often compromise on design or lack the structural integrity needed for wider patio openings.
The Markilux 6000 is Markilux’s top-of-the-range full-cassette model. Custom-measured and installed by A’besco specialists, its modular system allows you to personalise every detail—from frame color combinations and chrome accent caps to smart climate automation—while completely enclosing the canopy inside a marine-grade cassette when retracted.
Variable decorative elements
Tailor every detail of your awning’s exterior profile. Choose high-gloss chrome end caps, stainless steel mesh inserts, or seamless color-matched side frames to create a flagship shade feature that perfectly complements your home’s architecture.
LED-Spots in the front profile
Turn your outdoor patio into an inviting evening sanctuary. Energy-efficient, dimmable LED spotlights built into the front profile project warm, targeted light exactly where you need it long after the sun goes down.
Markilux Shadeplus
Eliminate low afternoon glare and block cool coastal breezes at the press of a button. An optional motorised vertical screen extends downward from the front profile, securing instant privacy and complete low-angle sun protection.

FAQS about the markilux 6000
The Markilux 6000 is an award-winning, modular full-cassette folding-arm awning. When retracted, its weather-sealed housing completely encloses the fabric canopy and bionic arm mechanisms to protect them from coastal rain, dirt, and salt air.
A single Markilux 6000 unit covers up to 700 × 400 cm. By coupling up to three systems side-by-side, you can achieve continuous shade coverage across grand entertaining decks up to 13.9 metres wide.
Choose between manual stainless steel crank operation, hardwired wall switches, handheld remote controls, or Somfy® smart home app integration with automated wind and sun climate sensors.
You can equip your awning with dimmable LED spotlights built into the front profile or continuous LED lighting strips fitted directly beneath the cassette for warm, energy-efficient evening illumination.
It features heavy-duty mounting brackets engineered for face-wall mounting, ceiling mounting, or rafter mounting across brick, rendered masonry, timber framing, and concrete structures.
Maintenance is effortless thanks to nano-coated fabrics that actively repel dust and soil. Simply hose off loose dirt occasionally and wipe the powder-coated aluminium cassette clean with warm soapy water.
