Leiner Garda® Folding Arm Awning
- Compact Architectural Design: Elegant housing that protects the fabric roll when retracted while maintaining a slim visual footprint.
- High-Performance Coastal Sun Protection: Blocks up to 95%+ of harsh UV rays and solar heat before it penetrates your living areas.
- German Precision Mechanics: Heavy-duty spring-tensioned arms and optional Somfy® smart automation for smooth, whisper-quiet operation.
Can a compact patio awning deliver maximum solar protection without dominating your exterior wall?
The Leiner Garda® proves it can. Featuring a sleek, compact housing profile designed specifically for terraces, balconies, and patio spaces, the Garda protects its fabric canopy inside a durable enclosure when retracted. Custom-measured and installed by A’besco specialists across the Sutherland Shire, it delivers effortless solar control, reducing indoor heat build-up while creating a cool, shaded outdoor sanctuary.
Made to suit your home
Tailor every detail of your Leiner Garda® HK Vario-Volant to suit your outdoor architecture and entertaining style. Covering single widths up to 6,500 mm with a 4,000 mm projection (and an extendable Vario-Volant drop valance up to 3,000 mm), it provides dual protection against both overhead solar heat and blinding low afternoon sun. Coupled systems expand continuous shade across grand spans up to 13,000 mm.
Select from standard White (RAL 9010), 18 textured Leiner Lounge fine-structure finishes, or custom RAL colour-matching to complement your home’s exterior joinery. Further personalise your awning with wirelessly dimmable LED arm lighting or the Wind Protect System (WPS)—adding fixable front support legs to withstand coastal wind gusts up to Beaufort 8 (70 km/h).
Choice of operating systems
Select from three drive options for your Leiner Garda® HK: manual crank operation, standard electric drive, or Somfy® RTS radio-controlled motorisation. Wireless technology allows effortless canopy and Vario-Volant extension at the press of a button via handheld remote or smart home automation.
